Fashion Friday...SAG and State of the Union...

It's Friday.... a beautiful day for many reasons...It's almost the weekend, I have exciting things planned (including Lost), and I have my computer back!!!

(can I get the Hallelujah chorus please)

So here are my thoughts on the world of fashion which still currently revolve around award shows...I promise designer fun is coming.

I have to say there wasn't too many I like from the SAG awards, although I thought Anna Kendrick and Christina Applegate were among the best.

Lea Michelle ( Rachel from Glee) was my favorite!

She looked fabulous in this oh so hot color at the SAG awards last Sunday...I am loving the versatility she shows to go from a Oscar deLaRenta Ball Gown to this chic Cathrine Malandrino gown is just lovely..can't wait to see her Emmy look!

I must say why I don't always agree with her husband, First Lady Michelle Obama almost always gets in right with fashion. I admit this look is a bit "holidayish" But I still love this look oh so much and am hoping I will soon find a knock-off in a department store soon

(H&M, Forever 21, Macys..please?)

Golden Globes....

On Fridays I am planning on making it a fashion Friday where I am going to share either one my my favorite outfits or a fav style/designer or outfit I've seen someone wear..so this may be a little late but I'm going to talk about my Fav dresses from this past Sunday's Golden Globes..

I love award season, I don't really love the award shows themselves I think they can sometimes be too narcissistic and political plus I rarely have seen any of the movies or shows that are nominated. Anyways the main reason I love it is for the fashion. The dresses, the shoes, the bling...I love it all..
So in watching the GG this past Sunday here are my Fav's

Emily Blunt- Love the pesh pink color and I also love her Fiance :-)

I didn't see this one on the red carpet.. it was really Mr. Darcy who first caught my eye but I must say his lovely wife looks so classy in B & W.

I also loved the ladies of Glee especially Quinn(Dianna Agron) her striking grey dress
(I LOVE grey..its kinda my fav color right now) and Jayma Mays was so classy it seemed very "Emma"



I think the biggest fail of the Globes was this disastrous number...it pains me to say it because I usually LOVE his designs but Zac Posen its just
"not working"

You turned the hilarious Tina Fey into Mary Poppins...I'm just waiting for her to fly away and start singing! ..and that folks is NOT funny!

Next up SAG's, BAFTA(British equivalent of Oscar) and Mr. Oscar!
