So the day of the wedding was beautiful. We had a luncheon at a nearby reception center before the sealing ceremony. The luncheon was at 11:00 and the sealing was at 3:00 after the luncheon we headed back to my house to change (did I tell you I had 3 outfit changes for the day?) Cause I did.
It was beautiful and sunny until we were on the way to the temple. It started to rain. I thought oh dear..this could be troublesome. The sealing was so beautiful and I literally bawled through the whole thing..it was just so touching. In the LDS church many people are married in the temple, we call this a sealing, because we believe that marriage is not just "till death do us part" but for eternity. (You can read more about it here.) It really was so lovely and they are so happy and in love. After the sealing we went outside to take pictures and the clouds had parted revealing a beautiful bright and sunny day!

Everyone...even my little brother who is serving a mission for our church in Germany was represented in cardboard cutout form. :-)
We finished pictures and and then headed to the reception. There was alot of prep but we got it all done and decorated and even squeezed in a few more pics.

My family excluding my youngest brother.
It really turned out beautiful..it really was a lovely evening. I was in charge of the music mix and "The Buble" as I like to call him, was fully represented.

Me and my Dad dancing!
*this is one of my fav pics cause its so spontaneous and so unlike my Dad.
It was so wonderful to see so many good friends and family and celebrate my brother and new sister-in-law. So after the newlyweds departed. We stayed and helped clean up a bit as well as say goodbye to our family.

So here's the best part or best story of the night. We left the reception center at about 11:00 and about 11:15 we get a call from my brother, I figured they had left something as the reception center. He asked if we were still at the reception, we told him no and that we were on our way to in-n-out to grab some food. He then asks if we could get them something. Sure!?1? So we ordered them two double doubles "animal style" (TWSS) fries and two Dr. Peppers..then we proceed to make the delivery to their hotel which was just 5 min away. So I called and asked them if they wanted to come out and get it or if they wanted me to bring it to them. They said to bring it in so I asked what room they were in.. #117! Ok then...so I knocked on the door gave them their food, waved hi to Dani who was sitting on the bed (still dressed, btw).
So yes..I made room service delivery to my Brother on his wedding night! AWKWARD. I would NEVER, over my dead body call my parents on my wedding night to ask them to bring me food. If I was that hungry I would go out and get it myself that's why I have a car! But then again I probably wouldn't care even if I was hungry ;-)
All in all it was a beautiful day and they are so happy...and that's what what it's all about! :-)
